Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Flowboard (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and processes when you use our website and related services, including the Flowboard Chrome extension (the “Service”), and how you can request deletion.

Summary

  • Users can create an account using an email “magic link” sign-in.
  • Account and subscription data is stored on our servers (in our hosted database).
  • Clipboard content captured by the Flowboard extension is stored locally in your browser.
  • Clipboard history is not uploaded to our servers unless we explicitly state otherwise.
  • No analytics or tracking is used by Flowboard.
  • Users can request account and data deletion via flowboarddd@proton.me.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address (used for passwordless “magic link” sign-in). We may also store a display name associated with your account.
  • Billing data: subscription status and Stripe identifiers (for example, a Stripe customer ID and subscription ID). Payment card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our servers.
  • Extension local clipboard history: the Flowboard extension stores clipboard history and related metadata (like labels and pin state) locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. The clipboard content you save can include information you copy in Webflow Designer (which may include personal data depending on what you copy). This clipboard history is stored locally and is not uploaded to our servers.
  • Extension linking/session data: when you link the extension to your account, we issue link codes and session tokens. For security, we store only hashed versions of these tokens on our servers.
  • Technical and security data: basic request data (such as IP address and user agent) may be processed by our hosting provider and used for security and abuse prevention (for example, rate limiting).

What we do not do

  • We do not use analytics or tracking tools (for example, Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking).
  • We do not upload your saved clipboard history from the extension to our servers.

Why we collect it

  • To create and authenticate your account.
  • To provide the Service and keep your subscription access in sync.
  • To manage billing and subscriptions (including providing access to Stripe’s billing portal).
  • To prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
  • To respond to support requests.

Where it is stored

  • On your device: the extension’s clipboard history is stored locally in chrome.storage.local. The website may store small items in your browser (for example, your last-used email address for convenience).
  • In our database: account profile data and subscription linkage (such as Stripe customer/subscription identifiers and status) are stored in our hosted database (Supabase/Postgres).
  • With our payment processor: billing and payment information is stored and processed by Stripe.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Service, such as with our service providers (for example, Supabase for authentication/database, Stripe for payments, and our hosting provider to deliver the website/API), or when required to comply with law.

How to delete your data

  • Extension clipboard history: use the extension UI to clear history (or uninstall the extension) to remove locally stored clipboard data.
  • Account data: email flowboarddd@proton.me from the email address on your Flowboard account and request account deletion. We’ll delete or anonymize data associated with your account where feasible. Some billing records may be retained by Stripe or us as required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
